Role Overview

This internship is ideal for a driven, communicative, and organised individual who is eager to begin their career in internal sales and customer service within a technical environment. The intern will support the internal sales and external sales teams by managing quote follow-ups, assisting with customer introductions, and handling key sales support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with customer introductions and account engagement under the guidance of the internal sales team.
  • Follow up on quotations and liaise with clients to ensure timely feedback.
  • Provide general support to field sales representatives.
  • Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate internal communication between departments related to sales activities.
  • Prepare and send basic customer communications or follow-up emails as needed.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) – a completed tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Admin, or Engineering is advantageous.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Interest in industrial equipment or technical sales is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
