🔎 About the Role
RCL Foods is looking for a dedicated and reliable General Worker to join its Operations & Manufacturing Team in Krugersdorp. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth running of our production line, maintaining quality control standards, and supporting food safety compliance within our FMCG environment.
As a General Worker, you will be involved in a variety of hands-on production duties including detinning, packing, cleaning, x-ray checks, and pastry processing tasks. If you are hardworking, quality-driven, and eager to grow in the FMCG industry, this opportunity is for you.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Matric / N4 or equivalent qualification
Strong numerical & literacy skills
At least 1 year’s experience in a similar working environment
FMCG industry experience is an added advantage
🛠 Key Duties & Responsibilities
Remove foils before packing finished goods
Collect and manage crates with pastry trimmings
Conduct x-ray quality checks on trimmings
Step in for packing support during staff shortages
Assist in pastry joining and hopper filling
Perform online QC checks (egg wash coating, pie shapes, filling checks, etc.)
Monitor pies on the spiral to prevent blockages
Replenish egg wash and assist in pastry portioning
Assemble and de-box packaging, including divider insertion
Ensure strict compliance with Quality and Food Safety procedures in line with RCL Foods policies

Understanding of food safety regulations and compliance
Ability to follow clear instructions and SOPs
