University applications are now open for the 2023 intake. You have a chance to do it correctly. It is an easy process that can be done online for free, but if not possible you’ll be able to collect and submit a physical form.

 

Requirements | Submitables

  • Certified ID, make sure it is a visible scan
  • Parent/Guardian’s Certified ID
  • Proof of residence
  • Parent/Guardian’s Proof of income 
  • Latest school results(Grade 11) with verified school stamp
  •  Be aware of at least 3 career choices to choose from in their order of preference
  • All documents should not be older than 3 months
  • Applications will only be considered complete once all required documents have been submitted.

Gauteng

  1. University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) – Applications for 2023 are open
    Closing dates
    30 June 2022 – Faculty of Health Sciences (all programmes); Bachelor of Architecture; Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology; BA Film and TV30 September 2022 – All other University programmes

    30 September 2022 – Residence applications

  2. University of Pretoria(UP) – Applications for study at the University of Pretoria in 2023 are fully online.
    Applications for 2023 will open on 1 April 2022.   The closing date for all selection programmes is 30 June 2022.
    There is no set closing date for applications for non-selection programmes for 2023
  3. University of Johannesburg (UJ) –    Applications open on 01 April of the year preceding the year of intended study and close on 30 September 2022 at 12:00 noon.  
  4. Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) – Prospective students may apply online​ or complete an Application for Admission form and post it to:

  5. University of South Africa (Unisa) –

    All applications for admission must be submitted online during the prescribed application period.

    Applicants who plan to enrol for classes at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement may apply via the relevant TVET college or online through Unisa.

  6. Sefako Makgotho Health Sciences University (SMU) –

    Applications for all qualifications open on 25 April 2022 and close as follows:

    Friday, 29 July 2022 for undergraduate programmes
    Friday, 30 September 2022 for postgraduate programmes

  7. Vaal University of Technology (VUT)

Western Cape

  1. University of Cape Town ( UCT) –

    Applications for undergraduate study at UCT in 2023 are open from 1 April 2022 until 31 July 2022. Applicants who need financial assistance must submit separate applications to NSFAS. Application deadlines for postgraduate programmes can be confirmed with the relevant faculty office.

  2. Stellenbosch University –

    4 April: Applications ​​​​open for undergraduate programmes.

    15 June: Applications open for financial assistance at Stellenbosch University.

    31 July: Closing date for ​​​undergraduate programmes and residence applications​.

    ​30 November: Applications close for Stellenbo​sch University financial assistance.

    15 December: Applications close for Diploma in Public Accountability (Telematic Education).

  3. University of the Western Cape (UWC)  -APPLICATIONS for 2023 will OPEN on 14 MAY 2022
    There are NO application fees
    All applications must be completed online and all required supporting documents are to be uploaded by the closing dates.  Please note; no emailed documents will be accepted.
    Competition for space is great and applicants are reminded to apply to more than one tertiary institution.
  4. Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).  Applications are now open.   and will close 30 September

Kwazulu Natal

  1. University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) – South African Applications – Semester 1

  3. Fort Hare University. – A non-refundable application fee of R 120.00 is payable by all applicants (for online applications)

Limpopo

  1. University of Venda (UNIVEN) – ONLINE applications for admission and hostel accommodation are now open from 20 July 2022 and the closing date is 31st December 2022.
  2. University of Limpopo (UL) -Online application has a handling fee of R200 for South African applicants, and R750 for International Applicants.

Mpumalanga

  1. University of Mpumalanga –

    Opening Date:  01 June 2022
    Closing Dates:Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching: 30 September 2022
    All programmes: 30 November 2022
    Masters programmes: 15 January 2023
    Doctoral Programmes – 15 January 2023
