A leading mining contractor, IMT Mining, is seeking 10 qualified Auto Electricians to join the Mogalakwena Mine Project in Mokopane. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to grow their careers in a high-performance mining environment.

🎓 Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
N2 – N4 Electrical Qualification
Trade Test Certificate (Automotive Electrician)
Valid Driver’s License
🛠 Experience
3 – 5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician or CAS Technician
Minimum 18 months on-the-job training for trade test compliance
Proven experience working on mining equipment
Experience in a mining environment will be advantageous
🔑 Technical Competencies
🚨Strong auto electrical diagnostic skills
🚨Experience working with computer-controlled engines and management systems
🚨Knowledge of electronic field systems and gear selection systems
🚨Air Conditioning training
🚨CAS (Collision Avoidance System) training
🚨Ability to interpret circuit diagrams
🚨Skilled in using diagnostic tools, meters, and laptops
🚨Knowledge of alternators, starter motors, generators, batteries, and voltage regulators
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
✔️Maintenance & Repairs
✔️Conduct routine maintenance and breakdown repairs
✔️Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
✔️Ensure minimal equipment downtime
✔️Installations & Testing
✔️Install electrical components such as gauges, lights, alternators, starter motors, and wiring looms
✔️Install accessories including radios, strobes, cameras, and converters
✔️Test repaired components to ensure safety and operational compliance
✔️Replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, magnetos, voltage regulators, and batteries
✔️Use hand tools and specialized electrical machinery
✔️Perform soldering and welding when required

✅Adhere to all mine policies and procedures
✅Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times
✅Promote and maintain a safe working environment
