The Department is inviting suitably qualified and passionate young South Africans to apply for the Artisan Training Programme 2026 in the Gauteng Region. Monthly Stipend
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of:
R8 174.75 per month
The stipend is intended to assist learners with transportation, meals, and other essential expenses during the training period.

Available Artisan Fields
The Department is recruiting trainees in the following artisan disciplines:
1. Plumbing
Plumbers are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water systems, drainage systems, and sanitation infrastructure. This trade plays an essential role in ensuring access to clean water and proper sanitation services.
2. Electrical
