VACANCY
General Worker Paving with Experience
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repairs of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
Duties:
-Paving
– Maintain workshop in a clean and orderly manner.
-Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
-Contributing towards the smooth running of the team working and meet daily target.
-Inform the supervisor of any problems, defects, or non-conformities.
-Follow instructions specified in procedures from the line manager.
-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
-Ability to operate a variety of small hand tools.
– Assist other employees within the workplace.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum Grade 10.
– 1-2 years’ experience as a general worker or equivalent.
-Paving certificate
COMPETENCIES:
-Initiative.
-Establish effective working relationships with employees and supervisor.
-Communication skills (written and verbal).
-Ability to work both independently and collaborative environment.
– Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
-Confidentiality.
