About the Opportunity
Novus Print Montague Gardens is inviting driven and enthusiastic individuals to apply for its 2025 Apprenticeship Programme, launching in January 2026. This programme is designed to equip participants with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in one of the following specialist trades:
Lithography Press
Electronic Pre-Press
Mechanised Bookbinding
Gravure Press
Sheetfed Press
This intensive 36-month training journey is structured to prepare apprentices for their respective trade tests and to kick-start a promising career in the printing and production industry.
Programme Structure
Training Agreement: Apprentices will be registered with both Novus Print and the FP&M SETA for the full duration of the programme.
Phase 1: Complete 3–4 months of foundational theoretical training at the Novus Academy.
Phases 2–4: Undergo approximately 26–30 months of in-depth practical training on-site at Novus Print.
The programme is supported by Printing SA to ensure high-quality academic and skills development.
Please note: Completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment.
Minimum Entry Requirements
1.Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
-Minimum 50% pass in Mathematical Literacy
2.A technical background or relevant school subjects will be an added advantage
3.You must attach your matric certificate or latest academic results
