Job Overview

The Department of Employment and Labour invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Client Service Officer. Key Responsibilities

Screen and assess UIF benefit applications

Process UIF claims and payment continuation forms accurately

Register and capture client information on UIF systems

Provide general administrative support and maintain accurate records

Deliver professional customer service and respond to client enquiries

Ensure compliance with UIF legislation, policies, and procedures

Minimum Requirements

-Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
-Skills and Competencies
-Basic knowledge of UIF legislation and public service procedures
-Computer literacy with strong data-capturing skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong customer service and client relationship skills
-High level of attention to detail and administrative accuracy
-Ability to interpret legislation, policies, and procedures
-Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
-Good time management and ability to work under pressure
-Professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
-Willingness to undergo pre-entry assessments and security vetting
