Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Completed N4 in Electrical Engineering Studies (or higher qualification in a related field)
South African Citizen, aged between 18 – 34 years
Strong interest in electrical systems, circuits, and safety procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and follow instructions in a practical environment
Must be available to attend full-time, in-person training in Gauteng
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will:
Assist qualified electricians in daily maintenance and installation tasks
Learn how to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Gain practical experience in wiring, testing, and fault-finding
Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
Participate in technical workshops and training sessions
Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in good condition
Complete all required assessments and evaluations throughout the 36-month programme
