🔴 POSITION PURPOSE
The Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship is a structured work-based training programme where learners receive hands-on mechanical training under the guidance of qualified Artisans. Apprentices will also attend formal training sessions at accredited institutions to complete the theoretical component of the National Technical Certificate.
⚙️ POSITION OUTPUTS
Prepare work sites, equipment, tools and materials.
Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Assemble, fit, install, test, inspect and maintain mechanical systems.
Conduct repairs, fault-finding and commissioning of equipment.
Perform maintenance on installations, assemblies and components.
