โš™๏ธ Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated, disciplined, and committed Apprentice Millwright to join our Gqeberha Manufacturing Plant. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to gain technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering trades. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training and practical exposure as part of Heinekenโ€™s structured Artisan Development Programme.


๐Ÿ”ฉ Key Responsibilities

Participate fully in the Millwright Apprenticeship Training Programme.

Assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.

Ensure all tasks are completed safely and to high-quality standards.

Demonstrate strong commitment to learning, teamwork, and performance excellence.

Support production operations by delivering technical assistance and reliability.


๐Ÿง  Skills and Competencies

Strong technical problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.

Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and plant procedures.


๐ŸŽ“ Minimum Educational Requirements

Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.

N2 Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Studies (Electrical and Mechanical trade theory).


๐Ÿš— Additional Requirements

Own reliable transport is essential.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Flexibility to be deployed across different Heineken Beverages plants or facilities.

Must be legally eligible to live and work in South Africa.
