Key Responsibilities
Complete the full learnership program, including technical training, assessments, project submissions, and leadership presentations.
Drive World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards with a focus on achieving zero defects, zero waste, and zero operational losses.
Use advanced Focused Improvement (FI) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques to solve complex manufacturing challenges across Safety, Quality Assurance, Cost Control, Logistics, and Customer Service.
Apply the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code (MMPC) to collect data, analyze production inefficiencies, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Work alongside production line teams, developing leadership skills through technical coaching, team training, and problem-solving facilitation.
Conform strictly to ISO standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within smart manufacturing processes.
Candidate Requirements
Completed Degree or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from a recognized institution.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word — essential for reporting, analytics, and project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency required).
Strong critical thinking, project management, and process engineering skills.
Passion for continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen (certifications are an advantage).
