Educational Requirements:
Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12 or an equivalent school qualification.

As an Assistant Electrical team member, you will support qualified artisans, engineers, and supervisors in all technical activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to mining standards. You will:
Technical & Operational Duties
Work on a rotation or cycle of shifts, including night shift, weekends, or public holidays as required by operational demands.
Assist Artisans in executing electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations safely and efficiently.
Carry and organize toolboxes, hand tools, testing devices, electrical equipment, and specialized instruments.
Maintain all tools and equipment in excellent working order and ensure proper storage at all times.
Disassemble and reassemble electrical components such as motors, conduits, circuit boxes, wiring systems, and auxiliary equipment.

Inspect electrical units for loose connections, overheating, moisture damage, broken insulation, corrosion, and other defects.
Tighten electrical connections and perform basic corrective actions under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance in your designated area of responsibility following Gold One’s safety, quality, and engineering protocols.
