About the Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2 – Unemployed)
This specialised programme offers an opportunity to gain technical skills, hands-on workplace experience, and industry-ready training that will prepare you for a recognised Artisan qualification.

Electrician (x2)
Boilermaker (x1)
Mechanical Fitter (x2)
Rigger (x2)
Diesel Mechanic (x2)
Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (x1)
Auto Electrician (x2)
Millwright (x2)
Measurement Control & Instrumentation (x1)
Minimum Entry Requirements
✔ Option 1: Grade 12 (Matric)
Must include the following subjects with at least 40%:
Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy)
Physical Science
English
✔ Option 2: N3 Certificate or Higher
Must include subjects relevant to your chosen trade:
For Boilermaker/Plater:
Plating & Structural Steelwork / Welders Theory
Plating, Structural & Steelwork Drawings
For Electrical Trades:
Electrical Trade Theory / Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics
Industrial Electronics or Engineering Drawings
✔ Option 3: NCV Level 4
All subjects passed with minimum 40% in the relevant engineering field
