🔎 Programme Overview
The Electrical Apprenticeship Programme is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training in heavy current electrical systems. Successful candidates will receive structured workplace exposure, mentorship from qualified professionals, and the opportunity to work within a dynamic municipal energy environment.

✅ Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
🚨Option 1:
Minimum NTC 3 Technical Qualification
(Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, or any heavy current stream subject)
with Matric
OR
🚨Option 2:
Technical Matric (Grade 12) including:
English
Electrical Trade Theory
Mathematics
Physical Science
Any additional relevant subject
OR
🚨Option 3:
Full NCV Level 4 Electrical (with all 7 subjects completed)
🌟 Additional Requirements
✅Strong passion for the Electrical Trade
✅Must reside within the City of Cape Town metropolitan area
✅Valid driver’s licence (Code C1 – old Code 10 – is advantageous)
✅Must NOT have qualified in any trade before programme commencement
✅Must NOT be in possession of a National S Diploma or higher qualification

Candidates with medical conditions that may negatively impact the apprenticeship will not be considered. This includes conditions such as:
