Minimum Educational Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following minimum academic criteria:

N3 qualification or Matric (Grade 12) with:

Mathematics

Physical Science

A minimum of 40% pass mark in each subject

OR

NCV Level 4 qualification with:

A minimum of 7 subjects

Must include Mathematics and Science

A minimum of 40% pass mark in each subject

Mathematics and Science are non-negotiable requirements, as they form the foundation of technical understanding, problem-solving, and equipment-related learning within the programme.


Additional Requirements and Attributes

To be considered for this programme, applicants must also meet the following criteria:

Must be medically fit to work in an industrial and plant environment

Must be a South African citizen

Must demonstrate a practical and logical mindset

Must be willing to work shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and overtime when operationally required

Preference will be given to applicants who reside within the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality
